NMGIC's Education Committee, co-chaired by David Jordan and Denise Chavez, has been working hard to develop internships for those who are interested in a career in the geospatial field (or even those who might be "testing the waters" to see if it's a good fit for them).
If you have a potential internship opportunity, whether it's with the private sector, public sector or an NGO, please contact David (at 505-246-1600; or email djordan@intera.com) or Denise (email xxxx@xxxx.org). There are several very strong geospatial technology programs within the state that produce talented students; give them a chance to strut their stuff.
