2010 SCGIS Conference

The Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) is holding its 13th Annual Conference from July 8th through the 11th at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Monterey, California*.
The Society for Conservation GIS works to build community, provide knowledge, and support individuals using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and science for the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage. The SCGIS assists conservationists worldwide in using GIS through communication, networking, scholarships, and training. Membership is open to any individual seeking assistance in the achievement of personal or organizational conservation goals.
The theme for the conference will be "Building Community". The deadlines for submitting abstracts for either paper presentations or potential workshops is March 26th, 2010. Poster submission deadline is June 10th.
